Calm down


Dear self,

You are feeling too much right now and I need you to calm the f down. I also know that there are so many deadlines and your to-do list is nowhere near done but I'd really appreciate if you take your time to breathe and relax a bit. What happened to taking things slow and making baby steps? Did you just google "is the brain responsible for emotions"? Please get it together because the future is bright and busy, you need not be overwhelmed. It's gonna be demanding and but it'll also be worth it. Just breathe. Allow yourself to feel restless and alive at the same time.

Here's to the kids who feel the same way as you do. Calm down.
